30 hours per week (term time only plus two weeks)

The South Shropshire Academy Trust is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Family Support Worker to work across Stokesay and Church Stretton schools. This is a challenging and rewarding role where you will work directly with families to influence and enable improvement in their lives.

The successful candidate will work to promote, strengthen and develop the potential of children, young people and their families. They will be the Lead Professional, coordinating a whole family approach of support to ensure that families get the right service at the right time to help overcome barriers to children’s learning. You will need to have previous experience of working with families from a range of backgrounds and disciplines, multi-agency working, excellent communication skills, resilience, good judgmental and problem solving skills.
