Budmouth Academy are looking for an outstanding Teacher of PE and Sport who can demonstrate an abundance of enthusiasm for teaching, learning and the progression of young people. The successful candidate will be energetic, dynamic and be able to thrive independently and as part of a team in our well established and successful department. This post would ideally suit an NQT.
Sport courses are popular at the school and we offer GCSE PE or BTEC Tech award in KS4 which leads on to A Level PE or the Extended Diploma in Sport Science (BTEC L3) in KS5. The department has an outstanding reputation for sports leadership and students have the opportunity to complete the Community and Higher Sports Leader Awards in Years 12/13. The Department runs an extensive extra-curricular programme which is fully committed to entering teams into both local and national competitions. Budmouth Academy Weymouth has a strong reputation for sporting excellence and providing opportunities that inspire and develop our students. A commitment to an extended working day and a full extra-curricular sporting programme is essential. The working environment will enable outstanding professional development opportunities and we offer a comprehensive programme for NQT’s.
