Teachers’ MPS to UPS
We are seeking to appoint an exceptional and inspiring Female Teacher of PE.
You would be joining a thriving and passionate department, who have a proud history of successful results. In addition, the school are extremely fortunate to have a modern-built sports hall with four full size badminton courts, a gymnasium, a fitness suite and a full size 3g pitch will be complete Autumn 2023/Spring 2024.
We are looking for a teacher who:
- Has a strong passion for teaching sport
- Has excellent subject knowledge
- Will build positive relationships with all learners
- Will work effectively within a team context
- Is well organised and looks to plan and deliver PE in a creative manner
- To play a key role in leading extracurricular clubs and fixtures in a range of sports
The successful candidate will be able to teach PE to Key Stage 3 and 4.
We would be happy to consider applications from ECTs for this post, and have a robust induction program in place to support new and developing teachers.

About Court Fields School
Court Fields School is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary academy based in Wellington, Somerset. There are approximately 758 students at the school between the ages of 11-16.
Court Fields School became a sponsored academy in 2014. It is sponsored by The Castle Partnership Trust, who also support The Castle School in Taunton and Wellesley Park Primary School in Wellington.

Court Fields School converted to an academy in January 2014 and is part of The Castle Partnership Trust. We teach nearly 800 students aged 11-16 at our campus in the Somerset town of Wellington.
