Keldmarsh Primary School, Beverley seeks an experienced finance & administrative officer to join our team. You will be a highly motivated individual with the ability to manage competing priorities and maintain a pleasant, patient demeanour to fulfil the role, which primarily involves working in a busy office environment and providing finance and administrative support.
Duties are wide ranging and include:
- procurement of goods, payment for goods and services
- day-to-day administration of the out of school club
- administering medicines, school funds, music lessons and the management of diaries.
Accurate recording and retrieving of information is essential as are skills in the use of Microsoft Office and a commitment to training in the use of SIMS and other specific software used by schools. You must be able to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times, have good communication and interpersonal skills and be able to liaise effectively with pupils, parents and colleagues. A certificate in School Business Management (CSBM) and a First Aid qualification are desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
This is an ideal opportunity for an individual with school financial administrative experience and who in the long term is seeking to progress to School Business Manager.
Hours: 35 per week, Monday to Friday, 8am – 12noon and 1pm – 4pm during term-time + 5 training days.
