Finance and HR Administration Officer

37 hours per week, term time only plus 10 days, Subject to a 6 month probationary period

(C3 – Actual Salary £20,845-£22,239)

The successful candidate will work as part of the Administrative Team to provide a first class service for the college under the supervision of the Principal’s PA. The successful candidate will take a lead role in the planning, development, design, organisation and monitoring of support systems/procedures/policies ensuring the integrity of the College’s financial management systems, making best use of resources through effective forward planning and budget monitoring and reporting.

The ability to work independently and with initiative is essential, as are the skills required to be a successful team player in a fast-paced environment. A positive outlook and high standards of personal presentation are very important. The successful candidate will also have an excellent telephone manner, an aptitude for working under pressure and an appreciation of our strict rules of confidentiality. Finally, they will be willing to take instruction, have good typing skills and be computer literate. Software used: Word, Excel, Publisher, Power Point and SIMS.

The following qualities are desirable but not essential:

  • Experience of working in a school environment 
  • A first aid qualification
