FINANCE & PAYROLL ASSISTANT

Scale 5-6 £18,795 to £19,171 pa (From 1.4.19)

Fixed term initially until 31st August 2020

37 hours per week Full year

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly organised, accurate and efficient Finance & Payroll Assistant who will provide administrative support to the Finance & Payroll Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for the processing and inputting of financial and payroll related data, checking of procedural compliance and that operational processes are implemented to achieve efficiency and best value for the school. 

This will also include acting as PA to the Chief Operating Officer as and when required.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a strong work ethic, be a strong team player, have a flexible approach and must be able to prioritise their workload to meet specific deadlines.  Excellent numerical and communication skills, alongside the relevant experience of working in a financial environment and familiarity with using computerised finance packages is essential.
