As a large 12 form entry 11-18 split site school we are situated in an inner London location, but with an out of London feel – surrounded by parkland with large playing fields and great local amenities, excellent transport links to enable easy access from central London and fringe areas.  Our school is truly diverse in its makeup, whilst united as one family working to achieve the best for all our students.  

We are looking to appoint a confident, organised, and committed individual to join our finance team to assist with all areas of the finance function including transaction processing, procurement, supplier management, month-end and year-end processes.

Duties will include meeting the financial legal requirements of the school, provide a smooth financial service for our busy professional staff and support budget holders to control costs and support profit-makers to maximise income.  

The successful candidate will also be customer facing, working with our parents and staff in managing the Parent Pay system ensuring that it is efficiently managed.

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and accounting software packages, experience of working with SIMS and in the education sector is desirable.

What do I need?

• Good general education, with GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths

• Administrative experience including the management, development and operation of administrative systems and procedures

• Ability to work in collaboration with staff, students, parents and other agencies

• Experience of working in a busy and demanding environment

The appointee will be required to complete a six-month period of probation.
