Based at New Rickstones Academy, Witham, Essex

We are seeking to appoint a Finance Assistant - Apprentice to provide high quality support to AET Professional Services staff and to our academies.  This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who would like to start a career in Finance.  You will work as part of the Finance team supporting with general administration and working with the service desk to provide assistance to end users.

During the apprenticeship you will have an Assessor and will undertake a Level 2 BTEC Diploma in Business Administration or Level 3 BTEC Diploma in Business Administration.  You may also be required to complete Literacy, Numeracy and IT Functional Skills (this will be determined by existing qualifications).  Training will be mainly through workplace assessment which will take place every three-four weeks.

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic individual who is customer focussed and has a keen interest in Finance.  If you would like the opportunity to enter into the workplace, gain experience and a Business Administration qualification we would welcome an application from you.

You will be required to commence employment as soon as possible.  This will be a fixed term contract for 12-18 months (depending on the Level of apprenticeship).

To be eligible for the Apprenticeship, applicants must have resided in the UK or EEA for 3 years prior to the start of the Apprenticeship and must not hold a level 4 (or equivalent) qualification or above.  Please note: applicants must not be a graduate or have already completed a Level 2/3 Supporting Teaching and Learning within the classroom apprenticeship (depending on the level you are applying for).
