Salary:  Grade 4 Points 7 – 11   £20,092 - £21,748  (actual salary)

Full Time 35 hours per week | All Year Round | 8:00am – 3:30pm

An exciting opportunity has arisen at The East Manchester Academy for a Finance Assistant who is reliable and conscientious to take a vital role within the school in the academy’s general office.  You will have a flexible approach to the role and be willing to carry out a wide variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the whole school finance functions and to meet the needs of the Academy.  You will be able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative, and you will have good communication skills with students, parents and teachers alike. You will also support the administration team in the effective running of the academy office whilst promoting our values and ethos.

The East Manchester Academy is a vibrant and innovative educational community in the heart of Beswick, and is a member of the Education and Leadership Trust with Whalley Range 11-18 High School and Levenshulme High School. 

The successful applicant will have a good standard of education and be able to plan and manage tasks efficiently.  You will also need to be able to communicate at all levels and work patiently with students aged 11 and over.  You will have a personal drive to complete tasks to the required timescales and quality standards.

You will need flexibility to adapt to changing workload demands and new school challenges.
