As soon as possible, ideally early December 2019


Working 22.5 hours per week ideally Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8:30am – 5pm with one hour for lunch.


An exciting part-time opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Finance Assistant to join a dynamic and popular Finance team as soon as possible. Our successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of Payroll and will have experience of working in a finance department, preferably, although not essentially gained in an educational establishment. The role will primarily involve processing the School’s Payroll and Benefits on a timely and accurate basis. An excellent knowledge of payroll legislation, procedures and processes will be key. Prioritising work, adhering to strict deadlines and a keen eye for detail are important as are the ability to be a good communicator and a strong team player with sound interpersonal skills.


The ideal candidate will be confident in the use of accounting software and have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Excel. Experience of using PASS software would be advantageous.
