About Us

Inspire Partnership is an ambitious and growing Multi-Academy Trust of nine schools situated in Greenwich, Croydon and Medway serving diverse, aspirant communities of learners. We have a track record of excellence and a national reputation for sustainable school improvement focused on our Partnership Values.

We want to appoint a Finance Business Partner to our growing central team. Working for Inspire will provide exciting opportunities for candidates looking to progress their career in finance. This is an exciting time to join the Inspire Partnership as we grow the central team to strengthen the professional operational support for our schools.

The Role

The successful candidate will work closely with the Financial Controller and Headteachers, with responsibility for providing financial management to our schools in Croydon. Your time will be split working with the central finance team at our office near Tower Bridge, London, and  with the school leadership teams in Croydon. There may be scope to work 1 day a week from home.

This is a perfect opportunity for someone seeking to progress their finance career in the not-for -profit sector, especially education. You will be mentored by a professional, qualified finance team to assist with your career development and will have lots of opportunity to demonstrate your skills and initiative. The ideal candidate will be an ambitious, quick learner with the confidence to establish themselves as a key contributor to the schools and the Trust finance team. Ideally you will be part-qualified with experience in budgeting and financial reporting.

The role offers 28 days annual leave, membership of the Local Government Pension Scheme, and study support to progress with a recognised accountancy qualification.
