Ashmole Academy Trust is a dynamic and expanding group of schools. It was formed in 2015 building upon the success of Ashmole Academy and its tradition of outstanding school performance. The Trust has a motto ‘excellence is a habit’ and seeks to achieve this in all that it does. The Ashmole Academy Trust currently consists of Ashmole Academy an ‘outstanding’ secondary school, Ashmole Primary, a new free school which opened in September 2016. In addition, Ashmole Academy Trust has established a partnership with Saracens Rugby Club and will be opening The Saracens High School, a new free school in the Grahame Park area of Colindale, North West London.
The Trustees of Ashmole Academy Trust are seeking to appoint a qualified accountant who has a proven track record in management to take forward the finance areas of the trust. The Finance Director will be part of the Senior Leadership Team and will be responsible for the management of finance, income generation and to act as company secretary.
The successful candidate will be able to provide evidence of successfully working at a senior management level and managing a team and will oversee the annual audit. Experience of working in education, knowledge of charity SORP 2015 and PS Financials would be advantageous, but not essential.
