Are you an inspirational finance leader with the ambition and passion to shape lasting change?

At Cramlington Learning Village, quite simply, our students are at the heart of everything we do. We empower our young people to think big and we are proud to have created an environment where individual strengths are nurtured and where every student can fulfil their potential. We want all students, regardless of background or ability, to move on to their chosen destinations with the cultural competence and confidence they need to thrive.

We are proud of our achievements but our ambitions for the future mean we cannot stand still. Which is where you come in.

We are now seeking to appoint a tenacious and highly collaborative Finance Director to join us on our journey. Working closely with the Co-Headteachers and as a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will have the opportunity to genuinely shape all financial aspects of our school. This means delivering operational rigour, regular reporting to the SLT and Governing Body, and supportive management of your team. Coupled with this, our new Finance Director will play an integral role in driving forward a proactive customer focused, high performance and cost effective culture ensuring we are well-equipped to empower our vision and embrace change.

To be successful, you’ll share our unwavering belief in the potential of every child, and you’ll be passionate about the opportunity to create a lasting impact in the community we are so proud to serve. Naturally, you’ll bring a strong track record of dynamic finance leadership coupled with a detailed understanding of the systems needed to ensure robust financial planning. Alongside this, we are looking for someone with a strong moral compass, an entrepreneurial mindset and a flair for building high-performing teams who feel supported to give their absolute best.

It's an incredibly exciting time to join us at Cramlington Learning Village. In return we can offer you unparalleled support in an ambitious and forward-thinking organisation, the opportunity to work with passionate leaders united in their mission to make a real difference and most importantly, great students.

There is no fixed blueprint as to where you might be currently working – whether you are already working in a school/MAT environment or considering a change of sector, we are always keen to hear from great leaders.
