Bucks Pay Range 8 £39,082 - £43,490

37 hours per week/ 52 weeks per year

(with an annual leave entitlement)

Insignis Academy Trust have an opportunity for a new Finance Manager to join our Centralised Finance Team supporting the schools within the Trust.

This is an exciting role across the Insignis Academy Trust to lead, develop and help shape the future of Finance support services to staff and students.

The Trust currently comprises Sir Henry Floyd Grammar School and Princes Risborough School, however The Mandeville School will be joining the Trust early in 2022 and in September 2022 our brand new school, The Kingsbrook School, opens.

The Trust is expected to grow further in future and meeting the challenges and taking hold of the opportunities that this growth brings, alongside effective delivery of the Finance support to current schools will be key to success in this role.

The post holder would be expected to be competent in their finance knowledge and understanding, have the skills and attributes to lead on these areas and contribute their ideas and knowledge to the development of the Trust. They will also fully embrace the vision and professional values of Insignis Academy Trust.

The post holder would report directly to the Chief Finance & Operations Officer and will work closely with the Head of Facilities, Head of HR & Compliance and the school leadership teams. 

This will be a period of change as the team grows and evolves. The Finance Manager is expecting to manage 7 staff (5.9 FTES) overall to start with. 

The main base for the post-holder will be Princes Risborough School, but from September 2022 is expecting to be at The Kingsbrook School, Aylesbury. Travel to other Trust schools is expected and the post-holder must have transport and a valid driving license.
