Finance Manager

Havant Academy, which is a member of the Kemnal Academies Trust (TKAT), was judged 'Good' in all areas in December 2018.

Havant Academy is seeking to appoint a finance professional for the role of Finance Manager.

The successful candidate will work closely with the schools’ Business Manager and Headteacher as well as the Trust’s central finance team to provide prudent oversight and management of the schools’ finances. You will work with the Business Manager in providing high quality strategic financial planning to ensure that all Havant Academy makes the best possible use of its resources and can provide the best outcome for students. 

Responsible for preparing budgets and feeding into annual forecasting you will provide all aspects of financial management and control for the Academy; including purchase order approvals, regular collaborative meetings and ad hoc financial reviews and analysis.

Your priorities will be to ensure timely processing of transactions by the finance team and prudent financial management within budget.
