Finance Manager

37 hours per week, 41 or 52 week contract (negotiable)

Fir Vale School is a successful and over-subscribed 11 – 16 school, providing for an ethnically diverse student population in a state-of-the-art learning environment.

The successful candidate will manage the finance and administrative work of the school with a range of tasks primarily related to the processing and reporting of financial activities. This role requires candidates to be enthusiastic, with excellent inter personal skills, a keen eye for detail, be able to communicate with a variety of people and organisations and have experience of producing high quality work to tight deadlines.

The appointee will need to be computer literate with experience of Microsoft Office, computerised accounting systems, be educated to the equivalent of an NQF Level 4 in Financial Management and have experience of managing a small team. The school will provide an individual training and induction package and has excellent facilities. The school has Investors in People status and is a High Performing Specialist School with a strong commitment to outstanding education for all.
