The Trafford College Group (TCG) has an opportunity for an experienced Finance Officer to join the Financial Services team to help us achieve our College vision of unlocking potential and fostering success.


The Job :


Working closely with the Revenue team the purpose of the role will be to:


To reconcile non funded income, ensuring all is captured and collected


Sales ledger invoicing and credit control


Liaise with the MIS team to ensure income is correctly forecast and recorded


Perform periodic month end and year end tasks, including balance sheet reconciliations


Work with Assistant Management Accountant to identify and satisfy other ad hoc and ongoing reporting requirements.


About you :


You will have experience of working in a finance department and a good understanding of the different roles within a finance team.


You’ll be strong in excel, with strong organisational and time management skills with experience of working in a fast – changing environment, whilst remaining calm under pressure.


You will have the ability to work in collaboration with staff, learners and other professionals, with excellent communication skills.


You will have an ability to undertake your own workload with accuracy and be a problem solver, with a forward thinking and committed approach.
