We are looking for a suitably experienced Finance Officer to provide financial support to our Strode’s College site and operate as the local link to the central Finance department for all finance related activities.
As a Finance Officer, you will assist budget holders with details of income, expenditure, budgets and commitments. You will also arrange regular meetings, ensuring that knowledge flows freely, to enable monitoring of adherence to policy, monitoring of approved budgets and to ensure budget holders are adequately trained in the Financial Regulations and Procedures.
The successful candidate will have proven experience and a sound knowledge of a range of finance related functions, regulations and procedures. You will also be methodical with high accuracy and attention to detail, work to tight deadlines and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
