We are seeking a Finance Officer - Income to assist the School Leadership Team with a wide variety of administrative and financial tasks to support the financial operations and income of the school. Under the direction of the Principal, you will coordinate financial administration activities and provide support to ensure the school delivers on key reporting deadlines.
Duties include; day to day financial activities, cashier and banking duties, data entry, report preparation and other office duties may be assigned as appropriate.
Ideally you will have previous experience in an accounts or finance role. You will demonstrate initiative, attention to detail and be a skilful negotiator who is able to liaise with the school’s clients with empathy. Additionally, you will be highly organised and be able to demonstrate sound judgement, confidentiality and discretion. Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and the BCE finance system AX Dynamics is desirable.

Xavier Catholic College is a co-educational P-12 College owned and administered by Brisbane Catholic Education which opened in 2003. Our enrolment is approximately 1100 students. Salary Level, Range or Hourly Rate: School Officer Level 4, $31.44 per hour
Employment Conditions: Diocesan Catholic Education Employing Authorities in Queensland Single Interest Agreement 2015-2019
This position involves working with children. The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with the law.
