Job overview
We are looking to appoint a Finance Officer to be responsible for effective and efficient management and operation of the schools finance, accounting and budgeting systems in accordance with Leeds City Council Financial Regulations.
The successful candidate will provide timely and accurate information and advice to the school’s Senior Leadership Team, Governing Body and the Wider Leadership Team to enable all parties to fulfil their relevant responsibilities ensuring best practice and compliance in line with policy, legislation and regulatory requirements.

About Benton Park School
Benton Park School is a mixed, mainstream, non-denominational school located in Rawton, Leeds. The school has a sixth form and admits students aged 11-18.
Benton Park School was founded in 1838 by Joseph Riley. It was built on the grounds of the old Benton Park house. It was demolished in 1957 but rebuilt by Sir John Burnet, Tait and Partners in the late 1950s.
