Founded in 1906, Leicester High School provides education in our Junior Department of approximately 100 girls aged 3 – 9 years and our Senior School of approximately 220 girls aged 10-18.

Purpose of the role:
To support the Bursar and School Accountant to ensure effective operation of the finance function within the School. This post will also include one day a week providing data support to the School by managing School academic data relating to achievement and communication with parents.
Summary of Duties:
· Termly fee preparation and processing
· Debt collection
· Accounts Payable
· Accounts Receivable
· Banking/ petty cash - reconciliations
· Posting to ledgers/journals
· Budget monitoring and liaising with budget holders
· Catering income and reconciliations
· Trip administration
· Nursery funding administration
· Supporting termly & year end accounts
· Management of School data entry for achievement and reporting in SIMS
· Management of School online data platforms
· Supporting admissions and aptitude testing

Skills and Experience
Essential:
· A part or fully qualified AAT accountant
· Well organised, and meticulous attention to detail.
· Good ICT skills
· Experience using SIMS
· Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
· Discretion, professionalism and confidentiality
· Ability to establish positive relationships and work as part of a team
· Ability to plan and prioritise competing tasks to meet deadlines
