Finance Officer

The governors of Hallam Primary School are seeking to appoint an excellent Finance Officer to start as soon as possible. Hallam is a large, inclusive and welcoming school with 620 pupils from Foundation Stage to Y6. The school is located to the west of Sheffield and is set in a large, beautiful and open site with an abundance of green space.  The school is at the heart of its community and in January 2015 became a member of Tapton School Academy Trust. Tapton is an outstanding secondary school and membership of the Academy Trust provides a range of opportunities for partnership working and continuing professional development. 

You will need to:

• Have excellent financial knowledge

• Have working knowledge of the BromCom, PSF and ParentPay

• Have working knowledge of financial procedures, such as, providing financial reports to leadership and the Governing Body, raising and paying invoices etc.

• Show accuracy and precision when preparing, maintaining and monitoring financial records and dealing with cash

• Have an excellent work ethic and be a strong team worker
