St Clare's Primary School is seeking an experienced Finance Officer to commence as soon as possible. This is a continuing position for 38 hours per week. The suitable applicant will have prior experience in bookkeeping or accounting procedures. Previous experience with Dynamics will be highly regarded. Typical duties performed include, but not limited to: Processing of the following: School fees generation; Accounts payable; Accounts receivable; Bank reconciliation; End of Month process and BAS; Maintain wage and salary records; Preparation of staff contracts and budget in conjunction with the Principal; Enter all financial data and prepare financial and management reports for review and authorisation by senior management; Census preparation and lodgement in conjunction with the Principal; General Secretarial and office duties; respond to enquiries from staff students, parents and general public and address issues accordingly. Must hold current first aid certificate.

This position involves working with children.  The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with the law.
