An excellent opportunity has become available for a Finance Officer in our busy school office. This is a new permanent post to support a large and growing primary school during its transition to being an Academy Trust.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, approachable and conscientious individual to join our hardworking and friendly school finance team.

Salary: £17,140.98 - £18,226.96 per annum
Benefits & Grade: Grade G
Contract Details: Required for June/July 2017, Term Time Only + 10 days
Contract Hours: 37 Hours per week

The school is currently undergoing a period of exciting change as we are joining a Multi Academy Trust (Conyers Trust) with a conversion date of 1st September 2017.  There may be future opportunities to develop within the wider Trust.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be an enthusiastic, well organised individual with a positive attitude and a flexible approach to working
• Experienced in working with financial systems and budgetary control and confident in dealing with suppliers and budget holders
• Have excellent written and oral communication skills
• Be committed to our school ethos and vision for the school.
• Have an understanding of working within or managing a busy office environment. Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel), SIMS and Agresso would be an advantage and a willingness to undertake relevant training
• strong numeracy and analytical skills.
