We are seeking an experienced Finance Secretary to join our college.  In this role you will support the Business Manager and Finance team with the accurate processing of financial requirements of the College.

The role holder is required to demonstrate a high level of initiative with an in-depth knowledge and competency of a variety of routines, methods, procedures, and processes associated with financial and administrative tasks including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.  Please refer to the attached Position Description for full position details.

The successful applicant will be able to work under general supervision and be a team player who will work collaboratively with others. Discretion and a high level of confidentiality are required.

To be eligible to be considered for this role you will:

  • hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
  • be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and

Total Paid Hours (per week) & days required: 38 Hours per week (Monday to Friday) some additional weeks during school holidays to be negotiated

Salary level, range or hourly rate: School Officer Level 4 - $33.52 per hour

Employment conditions: Diocesan Catholic Education Employing Authorities in Queensland Single Interest Agreement
