Part Time Medical Officer  – Part time -  Mon- Fri 12:30pm- 3:00/3:30pm 

(Some flexibility is available for a finish time of 3:00 – 3:30pm)

Required as soon as possible, a Part-Time Medical Officer to ensure the smooth running of the medical room, meeting the medical needs of students and staff.

The successful candidate will be required to attend to the day to day health and first aid needs of pupils, staff and visitors with a wide variety of medical needs 

Duties will include, administering medication following the school policies and maintain appropriate records, make arrangements for pupils who require medical aid, contacting parents/carers where appropriate and on occasion accompanying the student/staff member to hospital, maintain care plans for relevant students, meeting with the student/parent as necessary and sharing information with staff as appropriate. (Full details of duties can be found on the job description.) Experience in first aid/medical environment would be welcome, however, training on specifics is available if required.

The successful applicant will be required to maintain a first aid qualification by attending the requisite 2 day course every 3 years.
