Moira House is an independent day and boarding Girls School, based on the South Downs in Eastbourne. We are a through school with pupils ranging from 0-18 years. Moira House Girls School is a member of the Roedean Group of Schools.

We are seeking a positive and enthusiastic Gap Assistant to join our boarding team. The successful candidate should have good communication skills, the ability to work as part of a team and motivate others. Resilience, a caring attitude and common sense are key attributes for this position. Applicants must have a good level of general education and a willingness to support our boarders of all ages (Year 5 to Year 13) pastorally and educationally.

The position is residential; accommodation and meals are provided. You will play an important part in the day to day running of the boarding house;running or assisting with in-house activities. Weekends are busy and Boarding Gaps are expected to accompany the boarders on trips and excursions. This role includes some hours helping in other departments around the school.

This position is ideal for someone who is considering a career in education or caring for children.
