Food & Nutrition Teacher

This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified or experienced teacher with passion and enthusiasm to join our team at Alderwood Senior School from September 2022. A July start will be available for an ECT. 

Due to a growing interest and uptake in Food Preparation and Nutrition at GCSE, we are seeking to appoint a qualified Food and Nutrition teacher.  The post would offer the opportunity to teach both KS3 and GCSE Food Preparation and Nutrition.  Pupils are offered Food and Nutrition at KS3 as part of our Design and Technology carousel rotation with many pupils opting to take Food Preparation and Nutrition at GCSE.  There may also be opportunities to teach other subject areas. 

Alderwood is an OFSTED rated ‘GOOD’ all-through 4 – 16 school based on 3 sites, which opens up lots of exciting opportunities for the successful candidate. If you are a great teacher with an interest in 4-16 development, then this is the school for you!
