We are looking to recruit a suitably experienced Food Preparation and Nutrition Department Technician. The ideal candidate is required to work as part of a team in the technical and practical support of the Food Preparation and Nutrition Department in order to ensure consistent excellence in the standards and achievement, teaching and learning, quality of provision and personal development of all pupils within the department.
Apart from being organised and methodical in their approach, the successful candidate will be able to work without constant supervision and have relevant practical experience in either a background of working in schools or have catering-related experience, as well as an awareness of food hygiene procedures.

Hours: 08.45 – 12:00 Monday to Thursday (13 hours per week - term time including INSET days). You will be required to work two days after the end of each term and two days before the start of each term.
Holiday: 6 weeks’ paid holiday (including bank holidays)
Remuneration: LA14 £6,563 per annum (£21,170 FTE).
