We are keen to appoint a talented and committed teacher to join our excellent team here in Ash Manor School. The Technology-Art Department support our students to deliver high quality work and very strong results across all of the disciplines and these subjects are very popular option choices.
We have excellent facilities with a fully equipped, practical workshop, two refurbished, fully equipped food rooms and access to first class ICT rooms. The department is supported by two full time technicians and the students here really value these subjects with internal Bake-Off and MasterChef competitions and involvement in a range of STEM events.
We currently offer GCSE courses in Product Design and Food Technology and there is scope for the successful candidate to teach in one dedicated subject area or across both subjects. We are also considering other DT subjects in the future as the school expands and this subject area continues to flourish.
