Your main responsibilities within this role will be:

·      Organisation of equipment, recipes and ingredients for practical lessons.

·      Shopping for ingredients and ensuring teaching staff have the equipment and ingredients needed prior to their lessons.

·      Shopping for and setting up ingredients for pupil premium pupils.

·      Cleaning of surfaces, hobs and tables in each room between cooking practicals, putting equipment away if practical has over run.

·      Having a full knowledge of all food teachers’ activities for the day to enable effective planning and set-up of cooking rooms.

·      Stock taking equipment and ingredients and re-ordering were necessary.

·      Keeping equipment organised and in good working order.

·      Performing fridge and freezer temperature checks.

·      Washing of tea towels and aprons where necessary.

·      Refilling of washing up bottles.

·      General support to the food teachers including administration.

·      Support Students during practical lessons.
