Job overview

Football & Sports coaches needed to work as a cover supervisor in different secondary schools across Tamworth, Atherstone and Nuneaton.

Are you an outgoing and enthusiastic individual who enjoys working with children and young people? Do you have experience in a coaching/tutoring capacity and find it easy to inspire and engage primary or secondary aged pupils? If so, we need to speak to you.

What is a cover supervisor?

The role of a cover supervisor is unique to each school you visit but will always hold the same core principals; you will be given pre-set lesson plans and will have to deliver those to a class of 20-30 students. The subjects you can cover will also vary from day to day, one day it could be PE all day, the next it could be science, maths and history! You will not be expected to plan any lessons. How often you work is up to you, all our current cover supervisors are working everyday they are free.

The skills needed for this role are:

- Excellent behaviour management

- Confidence in delivering exciting coaching sessions and pre-planned lessons

- Ability to build strong relationships with both pupils and staff

- Strong time keeping and organisation
