We welcome applications for this support post to commence October 2022.

We are currently advertising for an Achievement Tutor, the position will close on 26th September 2022. Please note these roles can be done in conjunction. If you wish to be considered for both roles please state this in your application.

The successful candidate will become part of a thriving, lively and supportive department. The department comprises of 14 staff members.

The department is accessed by students from across college and serves the whole college community. The department is consistently graded Outstanding in Self-Assessment, all measures of success are significantly above National and SFC bench marks with Outstanding and Excellent ALPS grades for all level 3 courses. A culture of high expectations exists within the department, student progression rates onto course related Higher Education, training and employment is high.

The College is an AOC Sport affiliated member and the students represent the college in all sports at regional and national events.

Hours: 10 Hours per week from early September to mid-May. Working hours are in line with training and fixtures as outlined below:

  • Monday - 14:45pm - 16:15pm
  • Wednesday - 12:00pm - 17:00pm
  • Friday - 8:00am - 10.30am
  • + 1 Hour Administration time
