8 hours per week, term time only, October 2018 – April 2019
Salary paid on the Unqualified Teachers Scale 1-6 dependent upon experience (£15-£23 per hour)
The School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic native level Spanish speaker to join our wonderful Modern Foreign Languages Department, education to degree level essential.
You will be working with students from 11 to 18 to assist in developing their speaking skills, support the language teacher working alongside them in the classroom or taking small conversation groups on their own. The FLA can undertake exercises in reading, comprehension, pronunciation, dictation and oral composition, and may also help with txtra-curricular and international projects so as to contribute to the promotion and success of the Department. You will work under the direction of the Subject Leader to ensure that students are exposed to a high quality of spoken and written language.
Some experience in a similar role is desirable.
