The principal and operational purpose of the Foundation Manager is to implement the policies of the Foundation Trustees, raise funds for the Foundation and to deploy the budget allocated to maximum extent in achieving the purposes of the Foundation. To manage all aspects of the day-to-day activities of the Foundation Office and staff together with Governance, Accounts and the Bursary Programme.
The Foundation Manager is accountable to the Chairman of the Foundation for all their purposes. The Bursar will act as agent for the Chairman for day-to-day line management.
The Foundation Manager is responsible for keeping the Headmaster, the Preparatory School Headmaster and the Bursar appropriately informed of all matters which should be known to the School about the activities and needs of the Foundation, and for liaising and integrating with the School over Foundation matters.
The School will involve the Foundation Manager in meetings and activities within the School which concern the Foundation at appropriate times, such as those involving the vision, promotion and future development of the School and its capabilities.
