Founding Principal/CEO

The new GEMS Founders School will open in September 2020 and will be the 3rd GEMS Founders to open after the tremendous success of the founding school in Al Barsha South, Dubai. Located in the Al Waha area of Dubai, the new GEMS Founders School will deliver the National Curriculum for England enhanced through an integrated approach to the development of 21st Century learning skills incorporating UAE aspirations. At capacity the school will have approximately 4,740 students from Foundation Stage to Year 13.  

We require an exceptional leader to become the Founding Principal from August 2020 or earlier if possible. Working closely with the Brand Ambassador, Matthew Burfield (the founding Principal/CEO of the first Founders School), you will have the opportunity to set the culture and vision, develop and implement a robust and enriched curriculum, as well as developing and embedding systems and practices that ensure excellence in learning and teaching.

You will play an integral part in the marketing and promotion of the school, ensuring you build strong relationships with the parents and community to secure optimum enrolments and deliver an outstanding school from the outset. 
You will be a highly successful and proven Principal/Headteacher/MAT CEO with a track record of educational excellence and tangible outcomes. A passionate educator, you should have a recent working knowledge of the National Curriculum for England, as well as excellent communication skills that will enable you to motivate and inspire all.
