French Language Assistant

The Royal Hospital School is a leading independent co-educational boarding and day school for 11 – 18 year olds, set in 200 acres of Suffolk countryside overlooking the River Stour.

The Royal Hospital School has the following vacancy:

FRENCH LANGUAGE ASSISTANT (fixed term contract)

We are seeking to appoint a French Language Assistant from 1 September 2021 to 30 June 2022.  The person appointed will be a fluent French speaker, excellent communicator and dedicated team player, committed to helping pupils develop their oral fluency throughout the school.  They will work with a range of students in small groups and one-to-one settings, as well as supporting our Languages teachers with the development of interesting lesson activities and displays.  The Language Assistant will also be involved with pastoral duties across the school.

Candidates must have the right to work in the UK for the duration of this fixed term contract without requiring any additional approvals.  Appointment will be subject to verification of the candidates’ right to work in the UK.

The Appointee will receive a competitive salary, rent free furnished accommodation (including all bills), meals during term time and use of the leisure facilities on our beautiful school site.  Whilst located in the beautiful Suffolk countryside, the Royal Hospital School is just one hour away from London by train.
