French/Latin Teacher

Cumnor House Sussex is offering a rare opportunity for an NQT or would-be student teacher gain invaluable experience whilst having a lot of fun teaching French (and Latin or Spanish, ideally) to children aged 7 – 10 years. CHS is a thriving Prep School surrounded by beautiful countryside. Emphasis is on the happiness and well-being of the pupils – and staff! You will be greatly supported by a lively and experienced common room, and surrounded by delightful children whom you should be able engage in conversational French in lessons and around the school. A gentle, good-humoured, encouraging approach is essential, while the ability and willingness get involved with Prep School life to the full, and to coach hockey, football or netball at junior level would be distinct advantages.
