French Teacher at Minehead Middle School

This is a full time position but a 0.8 FTE would be considered.

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Minehead Middle School, which is part of the West Somerset Academies Trust. Trustees, staff, parents and pupils are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic French Teacher to work in our team. We are an ambitious school, teaching children from Year 5 to Year 8, located in the popular seaside town of Minehead with access to Exmoor National Park. This striking coastline makes West Somerset a delightful place to live and raise a family

The successful applicant will be a positive, hardworking, skilled and ambitious practitioner who wants to make a real difference to children’s lives and is ready and able to take on a role teaching our children and working in harmony with staff, families and other key stakeholders. We are looking for a French Teacher who:

• Can demonstrate successful experience teaching and engaging children’s interest to a high standard.

• Can demonstrate a comprehensive and confident knowledge of the French language
