We have a fantastic opportunity at our Hindhead Campus for an experienced and interactive French Teacher on a full time, permanent basis. This is a national role with a substantial amount of zoom teaching across our 23 UK campuses. You will be adept at coaching our students to see and lead through challenges in their learning, so they make the best possible progress in each and every lesson.


Key responsibilities:

  • To ensure documented lesson plans are delivered to meet the outcomes as set out in the relevant OneSchool Global UK French curriculum and Examination Board specifications
  • To plan, implement and monitor schemes of work, lesson plans and student Self-Directed Learning assignments for French
  • Ensure the Self-Directed Learning philosophy of the school is present in the opportunities presented to the students
  • In conjunction with the Campus Principal and Campus Administrator team, ensure that the lesson plan delivers what the ILP requires
  • Use a wide range of resources and extracurricular activities to provide students with a broad range of activities and experiences in keeping with the School’s guidelines
  • To keep appropriate records of progress and attainment of students for use in planning and for reporting accordingly to parents
  • Contribute to, share in and promote the wider and longer-term vision of OneSchool Global UK
  • Uphold and promulgate the OneSchool Global ethos within all areas of responsibility

 You will:

  • Have recent experience of teaching Modern Foreign Languages to students in KS3 and KS4
  • Have knowledge of the National curriculum for GCSE French as well as exam specifications
  • Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Degree educated and have Grade C or above in GCSE English and Maths
  • Have good communication skills written and verbal
  • Set an example of positive personal integrity and professionalism, with positive, appropriate and effective communications and relationships at all levels
  • Ensure high standards are maintained, progressed and promoted in all areas of work

Welcome to OneSchool Global UK Hindhead Campus. Established and registered in 2003 as the ‘Three Counties Education Trust’ in Farnham, Focus School Hindhead moved to its current location in September 2008 and is now well-established in its new premises.

Our school is located in Surrey on the edge of an area of outstanding natural beauty known as the Punch Bowl. Hindhead is the highest village in Surrey enjoying wonderful views and beautiful scenery. We have excellent communication links being just minutes from the A3 to London and the South.

Hindhead Campus pursues a programme of ongoing development and improvement, resulting in well-proven levels of educational achievement. It has a strongly Christian ethos. As a registered examination centre, Hindhead Campus gives pupils and students the opportunity to fulfil their potential with a high standard of learning being reflected in the excellent results achieved in nationally accredited examinations.
