Front of House Assistant

ACES Academies Trust are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to be part of the HBK Performing Arts Centre Team when the venue reopens in September.

This is a great opportunity to work as part of the HBK Leisure department who are responsible for hiring the school’s facilities including the Performing Arts Centre to a wide range of community clubs and businesses.

We need a Front of House Assistant who will...

  • Be focused on delivering excellent customer service standards
  • Ensure high levels of cleanliness and housekeeping are maintained within the venue
  • Support the varied programme of venue events and activities
  • Effectively communicate with other team members

No previous experience is needed however you must be willing to train for and cover a variety of duties. This role will mainly involve evening and weekend work.

Reporting to the Front of House Manager your duties will include welcoming customers to the events, checking tickets stubs and guiding customers to their seats. You will also be required to work in the venue’s bar serving customers, operating the point-of-sale registers and accurately handling cash. You will be required to set up and dismantle equipment including the auditoriums additional chairs when required. Additionally, you will be expected to ensure the public areas, foyer, auditorium, and toilets are always presentable.
