The Royal Hospital School is a leading independent co-educational boarding and day school for 11 – 18 year olds, set in 200 acres of Suffolk countryside overlooking the River Stour.

FULL TIME TEACHER OF DESIGN & TECHNOLOGY

This is an excellent opportunity for a well-qualified, talented and enthusiastic teacher to join our highly successful Design & Technology department from September 2020.

The successful candidate will be an excellent classroom practitioner, able to teach design & technology to pupils from Year 7 through to Year 13.  Experience of or a willingness to teach food technology would be desirable and there is a possibility of the school introducing engineering in the future.  The successful candidate will articulate how they can successfully contribute to the department’s outstanding extra-curricular offering and will have an understanding of working in a busy day and boarding school.  

RHS has its own salary scale, outstanding development opportunities and subsidised accommodation may be available.  The Royal Hospital School remains a member of the TPS.
