We are seeking a dynamic Languages Teacher to join our thriving Modern Languages department. Pupils are taught Spanish from Nursery to Year 6 in the prep school, following a curriculum that reflects their IPC Foundation topics. In Years 7-8 pupils study both French and Spanish, with the option to drop one in Year 9. They can then study one or both languages at GCSE, with some opting to continue to A Level study. We follow the AQA syllabuses at both levels. The department organises regular events, exchanges and trips abroad to support and enhance the language learning experience and the department is a busy one.
Stonar is an independent, non-selective, co-educational day and boarding school for pupils aged 2 to 18, which was rated excellent by ISI in October 2018 for both pupil achievement and personal development.
