Applications are invited from suitably qualified teachers for the following position: 

Full Time Temporary Teaching position for the 2019 school year. 


Applicants must: 

  • have a commitment to the practice of the Catholic faith and appropriate Religious Education qualifications; 
  • have a knowledge of and commitment to the Catholic ethos and mission of the school; 
  • have a commitment to excellence as a classroom teacher;
  • be willing to teach any class level from K-6; 
  • be able to work as a member of a committed team of professional teachers, dedicated to providing quality teaching and learning in partnership with the parent community; 
  • knowledge of NSW Australian Curriculum, CLF and PLC would be an advantage; 
  • have a current Working with Children Check clearance;
  • must have full registration with NESA (with a minimum provisional or conditional accreditation status) 


Please nominate three (3) referees, one of whom is the Parish Priest from your usual place of worship.

About St Brigid’s Primary School KYOGLE

St Brigid's Primary School is an independent co-educational Roman Catholic primary school catering for pupils from kindergarten to Year 6. It is located in the town of Kyogle in New South Wales, Australia. 

The school was originally founded in 1906 and draws students from the areas of Kyogle, Cawongla, Wiangaree and nearby surrounding areas.

The school has multiple flexible learning spaces and provides up to date technological learning aids such as Chromebooks, Netbooks and Android tablets, and there is a school canteen.

It also has an excellent Sporting Schools Program with a wide variety of in-school education programs and sporting events such as football, rugby league, cricket, swimming and gymnastics.

Curriculum

St Brigid's Primary School is accredited by BOSTES (the Board of Studies, Teaching and Educational Standards), whose guidelines the school's comprehensive curriculum follows. The KLAs (Key Learning Areas) in the syllabus are mathematics, English, human society and Its environment, creative arts, science and technology and personal development, health and physical education.

There is a particular focus on literacy and numeracy and all subjects are combined with a Christ centred approach to teaching.
