ABC Teachers are working closely with an improving school in the Chelmsley Wood area of Birmingham to recruit a full time Year 2 teacher from September 2018, for the full academic year.
This large and thriving school, which is well equipped with modern technology and interactive resources, has a hard working team of dedicated teachers who are continually looking to take the school to the next level of success. They believe in developing confident and responsible children with the skills and attitudes necessary to become successful.
The Head is ideally looking to recruit an NQT who can bring new ideas to the team and someone who can build positive working relationships with both your colleagues and your class. You will liaise effectively with the Senior Leadership team who will support you throughout the year and you will be part of the supportive ethos to help you succeed.
The school benefits from great transport links from the city centre and both newly qualified and experienced teachers will be considered for this position.

To be considered for this position you will be required to attend a face to face registration and hold an enhanced DBS check in Child Workforce. You will need to pay for this upfront, but once you are fully registered, have uploaded this onto the Update Service and have worked 1 full day with us then we will reimburse you the cost. At the registration we will discuss in more detail the work that you are looking for, your experience to date, and also how we are going to work best for you.
We will need to gain academic references to cover the last 12 months, one of which must be a school based reference. Our compliance team have a rigorous safeguarding and clearance process and this is how we know we are working with the best possible team of staff to employ in our schools.
