The Role
Supporting Futures (Based at Selby College) are looking for an experienced and motivated Functional Skills Tutor to deliver functional skills to adults and apprentices, some of which will be within the workplace. As a part of the high performing and dedicated Selby College Business Services team you will be working with apprentices to ensure achievement of the functional skills and working with assessors in the delivery of functional skills theory using e-learning and other appropriate resources.
The Person
Whilst it is not essential to have a full teaching qualification for this post, it is a requirement to be qualified to Level 3 or higher in ICT, a support qualification or adult literacy or numeracy. You must have experience of successfully delivering functional skills. Experience of dealing positively with a range of employers is also essential. It is important that you have experience of E-learning, as this is a key part of the role.
A full clean driving licence is required as you will be visiting apprentices on site
