Hazlegrove is a leading independent Prep School in the South West with around 380 pupils including 100 full boarders and 280 day pupils in the Pre-Prep and Prep School. 

If you are thinking about a career in teaching whilst gaining paid experience then this rewarding opportunity could be ideal for you!

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, hard-working and committed Gap Assistant to assist with general duties including with Games; PE; Art and Boarding duties. 

The successful candidate will be friendly, approachable and patient with boundless energy. We would expect you to build professional relationships with our pupils who are aged 3 – 13 and assist staff in supporting our day and boarding pupils.

The position will require the candidate to work term time weeks, plus all School inset days. You will be living on site and will provide some overnight cover in the Boarding Houses. In addition, the candidate will be required to assist with games fixtures on Saturdays.
