Garden Educator (Early Learning)

Mount Scopus Memorial College is a co-educational Jewish School from Early Learning to Year 12 across three campuses; St Kilda East, Caulfield South and Burwood.

The College is an IB World School and authorized provider of the Middle Years Program, and Primary Years Program. These programs help develop independent thinking, positive attributes, responsibility and a global outlook in students.

The College is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced person in the position of Garden Educator to commence work from Term 3, 2021 at our Early Learning Centre in St Kilda East.  This is a (0.20) FTE part-time ongoing position working during term time only.  The successful candidate must;

• Demonstrate a passion for as well as knowledge and understanding of gardening and of sustainability.
• Create a culture of appreciation for the environment and help students connect with nature.
• Build and maintain collaborative relationships within and beyond their team, in ways that benefit the whole learning community.
• Show commitment to each student’s physical,  social and emotional development both within and outside of their learning experiences.
• Take initiative and drive change in self and others.
• Demonstrate a commitment to our Early Learning Centre’s learning principles.
