The Edron Academy is seeking an outstanding Teacher of General Science at Key Stage 3 and Physics at IGCSE and IB diploma Level (standard & higher level).
Reporting to: Head of Science
Main responsibilities
- Teaching of general science (KS3) and IGCSE and IB Diploma Physics (standard and higher level).
- Tracking student progress and implementation of intervention strategies where necessary.
- Contribute the development of the science schemes of work as well as the taught and assessed curriculum.
- Contribute to the departmental and wider school targets.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience in the field of general science and physics to at least IGCSE level
- Experience teaching physics to IB diploma, A Level or A.P Level
- Experience teaching IB diploma physics (standard and higher level)
