St Cuthbert’s Roman Catholic Academy Trust is committed to safeguarding children and young people. All post holders are subject to appropriate vetting procedures and a satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and barring disclosure.

We are looking for a General Teaching Assistant to work part-time to support a child with Special Educational Needs in Key Stage 2. This will require working 1:1 with the child concerned and will also involve supporting other SEND children within the school as part of the SEND support team. The role will also involve working with small groups of children and leading small group interventions under the direction of the class teacher.

Experience of working in a school is essential. Experience of SEND and/or working 1:1 would be an advantage, but most importantly, you will have the right attitude towards teaching and learning.
